anyone thinking of a quick jaunt across the channel wouldn't do much better than this market, biggest one I have seen in this area, got snow , santas , (not real):xgrin: real animals , must be hundred assorted stalls , only three of us on the aire, loads of room 3 euros £58 quid day trip tunnel which does you two days if you time it right, been to ipers this morning, not a patch on this one. On free port wifi , was going to upload a picture but wouldn't do it, but I'll try later.

Think we are going to do this next year, along with Brugge. We nearly went over this weekend but decided not to and went to Winchester instead, which was nice. I'll be interested to see the pics and any other information you have.

cheers Steve

Just got back from Gravelines this afternoon, walked round on Sunday afternoon quiet, just two of us on the aire then about four thirty the aire was full with cars visiting the Christmas market, had a walk round packed out.visited Ypres on Sat smaller market as you say but nice place, Called at Arras first big Christmas market there shame it rained all day

heading over Friday afternoon, then Brugge & Ypres. Was thinking of Arras but it seemed like the Christmas Market might be where the Aire is placed ?

Here we are this morning , all on our own:xsmile:

Every time we have been on Gravelines we have had to park long ways ! The rig is too long to fit on any other way..
Fortunately when we go there it is as it is now, pretty much deserted !

fishing for your breakfast?

Arrived in dover about 7 o'clock Sunday , head down till midnight. Came on the 1.25 tunnel, around the corner into cite europe camper park at about 3.15 their time, head down again till 8.00 , off to ipers , half a day there , back to gravelines , market there then in to the Pmu for a jar or two with the locals , up this morning at nine then into bourbourg for their normal Tuesday street market, now we are at wissent, aire having a fry up with what we bought out of the market this morning, going back to cite europe now to do some serious wine shopping and other stuff then hopefully back on the 22.20 tonight or earlier if we get there before. Brilliant couple of days.:xThumb::xThumb:
