Google maps, somethings changed

On my google maps I had all my favourite places saved and the markers would always come up on the map like this...

However, I now only see the blank map but all my places are in my map settings and still all there but no matter what I do I can’t get them to show up on the map like before...?

Any ideas..?

Three lines, press
Your places, press
Maps, press

Then you should find them, press and then they appear on map

The map you show is clearly faulty too, all your favourite places in Germany and Italy are missing.

Tried that, they are all there but pressing on them it comes up with a menu on the left of them but still not on the map..

dont know if this is any use to you but if you click the top corner thing and get a drop down thing you can select timeline and it will tell you where you have been for years also if you click my contributions it will tell you every restaraunt you have been in as well as other places.

Well you know what should have happened on 29th March !!

All those favourites have disappeared because you would have been Persona non grata had B****t come into effect at 2300 hours yesterday

Fixed it...! Found on a forum that I should turn on Terrain and traffic then force shutdown the iPad,
turn on and hey presto

It’s beyond me....
