Hi, received this email today from our friends who are on the new part of La Torreta campsite in Benidorm ( next to the Benidorm Palace and just down from El Raco campsite.
Weather been great apart from huge thunderstorm 3 weeks ago,Thank goodness we were up at the top new part of site. The bottom both sides flooded with 6feet of flood water mixed with raw sewage. A lot of caravans and Motorhomes written off and the site did nothing. The site just left the sewage water to soak in and dry and put new chips down. There was no bleaching or disinfectant used!!!! People are coming in and the site are just parking them on the polluted pitches and not letting on. We think this is terrible, families are on these pitches, a real health hazard.
It has put us off coming back here again.

(those who were there with motorhomes were able to drive off !!
