Glass lid replacement.

Unfortunately we've managed to smash the glass top on our Stoves DF500dit.
If we can get a replacement does anyone know how to remove old one and fit new one?

Mine is literally held on by 2 screws.

Does that upright bit hinge back and forth? If so, was the glass stuck to it somehow?

It looks to have been bonded, so really can’t help with the fitting, sorry .

Don’t bother replacing it, as long as the gas comes on what’s the point? I’m always forgetting to close ours so it’s only a matter of time before I’m in the same boat

Hi Geoff. Metal bit on back is hinged with a strong spring somewhere. Glass is bonded to it so need the complete assembly.
