Lots now
We have called into Gibraltar every time we pass through this area.
This usually involved a call into morrisons for a pork pie, decent bacon and a 4 pinter of milk and any of the usual products that we may need to top up.
Don't get me wrong I love spanish supermarkets which have an amazing array of products but sometimes you miss homecountry products.
This is no longer possible but we still managed to pick up some duty free booze although some products are cheaper in Spain.
We did enjoy a lovely curry at the restaurant called curry and sushi (a cracking curry house) in its new location in the ocean Village area.
If we do call into Gibraltar as we pass a passport with more pages may be required as we ended up with a stamp in and a stamp out and as we went back for our evening meal we now have 4 extra stamps in the passport.
Oh and no hotel chocolates either as after looking online we couldn't get a definite idea whether these are allowed.
Up the coast to Cadiz now.

I remember having passport stamped before B******, then they went to the scanners.

Is the Eroski between the customs and the airport still there? It was full of waitrose products and used to be an excellent place to get the few british items we missed, but I ve heard it closed due to the Covid lockdowns.

It's open again. To be fair I don't miss many things except a nice pork pie.

You would if you had been in Morocco for 2-3 months. Love Morocco but soon get fed up of Tagines

The thing I used to miss the most when were away was a decent Curry but now its Sausage rolls and proper cream 🐷

We use quite a bit of powdered Coffee Mate, so used to stock the cupboards with plenty of tins, now we carnt take any with us because of the food restrictions and we've never seen it, for sale in either France or Spain, so Morrisons in Gib will definitely be a drop off for us, as well as the fact we like Gib.

But then you can't take what you buy out of Gibraltar right?

Actually, your probably right, last time there, we got all sorts of shopping and just walked back through customs with it all, quite innocently, never thought of that, never got questioned and our bags were clear to see, now that's put a spanner in the works for future trips.

We had 2 small bags and they didn't check them. It's a case of you take the chance but be prepared that it may be taken off you.

We was pulled in a hire car years ago, I just put the booze in the boot, thought better than hiding it, we was only one bottle of southern comfort over, you would think I had a dead body in there the way they reacted. 😁
After a lecture and me saying the shop said it was OK, he let me go. 🙄😁

You could get your pork pies and so on in Overseas Iceland for over inflated price. 😯🙂 Bob.

We ve been through EU border several times since the change and nobody has shown any interest at all in our cupboards or fridge. The French couldnt even be bothered to look at our passport 2 weeks ago.

Yes same with us, they have checked inside our van, on a couple of occasions but just a quick look in shower room and robe, for stowaways presumably, it's crazy really, I mean, we've got a garage on our van and no one has ever asked to look in there ever, on multiple trips across the channel.

If you don’t want all the hassle and are travelling up the coast about 10k there is an ”Overseas Supermarket” that offers all and more than Eroski offers.
