Anybody enlighten me as to what plug you need for hookup in Germany ( is it the 2 pin one?) . Also what is used in Luxembourg and Belgium? Thanks.

Only ever used the normal blue plug that’s on the end of an extension lead.
I have an adapter to go over to the 2 pin but never had it out the bag.

Just home today and the Aire in Belgium was the usual one, all the ones we’ve stayed at in Germany have also been the usual U.K. style one.

Same as photo in above post, I always carry a 2 pin adapter but barely used in 11 years

I found a 2 pin one once in Germany. The standard 2 pin adapter plus the 16A blue plug fits practically everywhere (except one site in Spain that uses 32A 3 pin but they will rent you an adapter)

I used the 2 pin one yesterday in France at a campsite in the Jura. In Switzerland they have another variation, the campsite charged a 50ChF deposit for it.

Many thanks , never been to Germany in sites but got the plugs that I probably don’t need 😉 Thanks .
You can never have to many plugs as you just never know what you will find, same as hose pipe fitting’s always best to have loads of them 👍👍

It’s the hose fittings that will catch folk out, I now have a tub of about 10 different ones.
