Hi

We are struggling to get gas to our hob. All equipment is in really as new state. New gas bottle. Connected fine with a wrench to the hose that runs to the regulator. The gas feed under the hob is turned correct way. No gas coming through. Are we missing something we have to turn or switch on?! Read the manual it’s not helpful. We have a hobby t600 fc with 3 ring hob. Primagas propane bottle correct DIN fitting Brand new...??? Stuck!!!

the bulkhead regulators are a common fail point

Did you turn the gas on at the bottle?

Has your regulator got a little green button on it (might need to press it)?

Do you have crash protection on the feed from the cylinders and if so did you press the green buttons on the pig tails after changing cylinder (we have 2, one on pigtail and one on regulator)

EDIT sorry Misterg didn't see your reply

Hi,
We also have a Hobby 600 series.
Immediately under the Regulator and part of it is a button (not immediately obvious) press the button upwards ANDKEEP IT PRESSED for a count of 10.
That opens a valve.
Go inside and try again with the hob.
Oh! and of you then want to get the fridge on gas, turn on the gas on the hob (lit of course) That will 'pull' the gas through to the fridge.
The things you have learn the hard way, eh!

It would appreciated if, after you have got the gas to work you come back here and tell us of your success.
There is nothing more frustrating as a respondent not to be told.
For the good of all.:)

Have you raised the hob top fully? Some glass hob covers have a built in safety device which means the top has to be lifted and pushed back fully

If it's anything like ours it won't have that safety feature.
It was one of the things I 'Tested' when we got the van.
