This funny looking bulb is one of my reversing lights which has blown now. What is it and can I replace with a normal reversing light bulb or does it have a special fitment.

I have never heard it bleep but then I am sat nine metres away from it. But it is strange how many peaple run out the way when I am reversingIs it a reversing bleeper and the bleeper part broke a while ago?
Don’t know yet. Have not tried to take it out. But I was thinking maybe the whole thing comes out and I could just put a bulb in. Maybe the black bit is a bleeper.Does the black thing behind the bulb twist like a bayonet?
I'm with John. It's often used in number plate lights, marker lights, and dashboard lighting. Its a regular capless bulb.
On the end on one side is a loop of wire and the same diagonally opposite.

its more a topical sketch bulbI thought the bulb was going to tell a joke
Youd be surprised.Don't think it will be 5w in a reversing light also filament looks to heavy more likely to be 18 or even 21w
