It's just been mentioned on another thread that 'Motorhome Fun has 11 CL sites scattered around the UK to explore', I'm not sure quite what that means? Is there a list somewhere? Any in Wales?

In brief
CLs are
small, privately-owned caravan and motorhome sites
that can only allocate pitches for up to a maximum of five caravan or motorhomes at a time. The land is certificated annually by an organisation like Motorhome Fun, Caravan Club etc.

The last list Jim posted contained Motorhome Fun CLs in the following areas, hopefully full details will be posted shortly.

1 Bamford, Derbyshire.
2 Brook, Hampshre.
3 Broome, Suffolk.
4 Bacton, Norwich.
5 Sutton On Sea, Lincolnshire.
6 Darnholm North Yorkshire.
7 Paignton, Devon.
8 Marnhull, Dorset.
9 Glastonbury, Somerset.
10 Old Sodbury, South Gloucestershire.
11 Jedburgh, Roxburghshire.

Any one claim to have visited all of them yet?

Now we can have a bit of a Christmas we would really love to have a few days on a site that has a decent club so we can have Christmas dinner and walk back to the van.
Anyone know of a decent site with ehu within say 100 miles or so of Chester?????

Thought you had missed one important new one but realised you are at no10 under your Sunday name. Looking forward to spring / summer and getting to some of them.

Rutland water caravan and camping CAMC affiliated site, approx 130 miles from you. 2 pubs in walking distance. 1 with traditional menu and the other decides their menu on the day depending on deliveries.

Both likely to be busy so worth ringing to book asap.

There is a pub on site at the CCC site known as Windermere (not actually at Windermere!) but you would need to check if everything is open.

We have stayed at the Suffolk site quite a few times in fact site sat for 2 weeks in the summer. Lovely people( Graham and Mary), great quiet site, good dog walking near by. Buses, shop and not too far to drive to the coast. Highly recommended.

I would be very interested in getting details of the Darnholm (can't even find that on the map) and Jedburgh sites for our travels in June please.

Also would like details of Glastonbury which we could go to before or after visiting Quackers site at Old Sodbury in August.

Morning all,

Is there an up to date list of CLs anywhere on the forum?

Thanks

Some are listed in the Local section.

Jim has given site owners the ability to list in the local section, so far only six have taken up that option?????
Here at Woodside Field we love visits from Funsters and we hope you have all enjoyed your stay.

Lost mobile signal and got a double post.

Thanks Quackers.

The problem with the CLs being in the "Local Guide" is that they are lost amongst the 100+ listings in there. I want to support Fun CLs, but no idea looking through all those which are CLs and which are just random park-ups that people have found.

I just think it is an opportunity lost. Would be nice to have a quick and easy way to find the CLs that have spent the time and money to get certified.

Thanks again
