I saw a similar model to my moho fully wrapped last year, this could solve a couple of my problems, firstly I have a scrape on one of the aluminium side walls, so a repair to that has been quoted in the hundreds & having it filled & then wrapped should be cost effective, secondly the paintwork on my doors compared to the body work has faded into slightly different colours!!
Anyone had their moho fully wrapped? Pro/ cons ? Can anyone recommend a place to do a wrap & preferably the filler work at the same time ? I am near Glasgow.
Thanks :)

I've just had a repair done at the motorhome centre Glasgow I bumped my kon tiki and filled it myself then had a wrap put on it but could still see the filler through the wrap. So decided to remove the wrap and get a proper job done. They're not cheap but can't see anything of the damage now did a fantastic job.
Cheers

M-J, yup, the top coat of lacquer started coming off in sheets, I first blamed it on the snow foam I had just started using, but it seems it's a common problem with my age and model of van.
I have a friend who runs a sign writing business and he's gonna have a look at it for me.
The two body shops I contacted about a respray were non commital, one said he was booked full for months with commercial work (diggers and plant) as he has one of the bigger spray booths in this area and the other guy just did the "suck through the teeth thing" !

Took me ages to find a body shop with a big enough spray booth, I asked a local paint supply company and as luck would have it a place around the corner had recently had a new commercial booth installed.

Some insurers may decline cover for wrapped vehicles. Apparently increases challenge and cost of future repairs.
Thanks for that, I will male a note & check with my current insurers!

There are advertising companies who will wrap your vehicle for free and pay you a monthly fee, as long as you have a commercial wrap. You'd need to declare it to your insurance but the fee would cover this plus more.

Wraps will not hide any dings or deep scratches. They will make them worse.

Now there is an idea......

I’d go for a green camo, so that I can park up in the woods and no-one would be able to see me.
