We are off to France in a couple of weeks, expecting to travel 2000+ miles ( again!) and just wondered what the general fuel prices were like now. When we were in Brittany last month, we were getting diesel for around €1.10 a litre.

€1.05 is pretty good and even better now the exchange rate is getting better. We just got some euros for €1.33 to £1! That makes a litre around .78p ( if my calculator is right!) :france:

French supermarkets are generally 20 cents a litre cheaper than autoroute services. That's 16 Euros less per 80 litre tankful.
