Fuel in Portugal

Just a heads up folks for those in or travelling to Portugal.
If you are not aware there is a strike by HGV drivers transporting hazardous goods.
The airports have been affected and many road fuel stations are running out.
Particularly in the Algarve and priority is being given to Lisbon and Porto.
The government are saying the military are on standby.
 
Recent reports indicate that air travel is not that badly affected with almost all flights running normally. The motorway services seem to hvr fuel but for other places it seems a bit random. Somehow I do not see the government allow this to go on for long.

Yes I guess the proximity to Spain will alleviate some of the problems,maybe for the airlines,just a waiting game I guess.

Some flights are stopping in France for a top up but my wife tells me they expect the army to move in soon
 
Getting reports from other sources that it is over. Was told yesterday the army was about to move in
