My wife saw this small site on Pitch Up.
It has 7 pitches, each with water and an EHU.
There are two clean bathrooms - male & female, washing up facilities, washer and dryer and wet room.
There is a nice place to walk your dog on the site and a fenced in area about the size of a tennis court where you can let your hog off the lead. There is also a quiet road to walk with your dog down to the village and two pubs in Drefach Felindre, we didn’t visit either but they are within reasonable walking distance or a short drive.
You have Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan close by. There are beaches at Poppit Sands and Mwnt within a 30 min drive and further afield Newport Pembrokeshire with its beach, golf course and very good restaurants and cafes.
The people who run the campsite are very friendly and allowed us to rock up about 11.30 and let our friends stay until they wanted to leave as their pitch was not booked that day. We paid £30 per night in August. They are open all year.
We stayed one night in the car park of the Nags Head in Abercych, about 5 miles away and had a lovely, if quite expensive, time and nice food.
Near Newport there is The Salutation Inn and they allow you to stay on the car park if you spend money there.
We love to eat at the Golden Lion in Newport and the food and service there is very good. You can stay with a view of the beach and a short walk from the town in Conifers. I think it was £60 (including EHU) for two nights in June. Dogs are welcome and the facilities are clean. There are plenty of places to walk around Newport, including the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
