Exactly, but would auto-ignite......that's the purpose of a Thermocouple. However this in itself is a major issue, the action of the pilot lighting could cause an explosion if, for example it was to happen in a filling station where there is a presence of petrol or LPG, it is therefore wise to run the Fridge on 12v....just a thought.On gas no.
