Hi all,
Fridge working on gas, saw light flashing this morning, off and on it relit (heard ignition) then 10 minutes later flashing again.

Can't hear the ignitor clicking and tried several times. All lights up on front panel and all habitation fuses ok, changed gas bottle just to make sure

Can anyone recommend a mobile tec in Kent ? Currently visiting friends and family for a few days so no access to hook up

Have used them twice. Recently sorted out my fridge and he’s based in Whitstable!

Thanks, have just call them, no go, booked up until November, they recommended Arc (Folkestone) wanted van into workshop only...

Will get the cover off and see if anything obvious, dirt etc....

Is everything else working on gas.. Is the hob burning correctly? If not it could be the regulator beginning to fail. Otherwise the fridge burner jet blocked.

Cover removed and power confirmed

Everything else has related (hot water / hob) is working ok

Tried lighter to burner, nothing and no gas smell.

So no sparking and no gas??

Valve is on

Tried most of the suggestions above, no one can come out to have a look.....

Back home Monday so will look at someone more local to Bude area.

Minster Caravans on the Isle of Sheppey. Works mobile.

If you follow the gas pipe back from the burner, you should see a small cylindrical unit with a push on electrical spade connector on it, this is the gas solenoid that opens to let the gas through to the burner. Make sure the connector is secure and not tarnished and maybe give the solenoid a couple of light taps with a screwdriver handle just in case it's sticking ?

I did check connections but didn't tap solenoid, will give it another go tomorrow, managed to get electric for tonight, luckily had my two leads and the 3 pin adapter, so all good for now

Thanks all for you assistance, will update once sorted

UPDATE

Took cover back off, tapped on valve, no joy, no gas and no click...

Cleaned up all spade connectors as some rusty, still no gas and no click....

Removed white terminal block from controller (?), Looked clean, but gave it a spray anyway, refitted, turn on gas on, ignition clicked and all lit up and has continued to stay on.

Putting it down to a 'dry' terminal

Thanks all for your assistance
