We usually have used the 25 hr crossing and taken the usual top tips re keeping the unit cold BUT this time we are taking the longer crossing , are there any additional tips or tricks or will the usual suffice ? , many thanks in advance .

It is turned off 💡
NOWHERE in Spain sells Delia’s Spag Bol or Spoilt Pig bacon or Welsh Dragon bangers and I maybe wrong but I’m not sure Spain is renowned for his Fiery Beef Madras 👍

Freeze everything then wrap in bubble wrap.
Ensure the fridge is full.... boxes of newspaper are better than nothing.
Don't open the door.

I'm sure you'll find that stuff in 'Little Britain' (Benidorm) if you get over that side of Spain

We’ve done that long crossing once and froze 2 x 2litre containers of milk and everything was still frozen in the freezer compartment when we arrived and the milk had only partially defrosted in the fridge door. Obviously you’re not supposed to be transporting meat, fish, dairy , fruit or veg anymore so if they do check it might get chucked out. Having said that we’ve just returned from France and our van was searched on the way out as was I but no-one checked the fridge.
