A bit late booking skiing campsite only got 3amp electric so the slow cooker should be ok (just!) need to heat van on gas does anyone know if the gaslow local connection hose fits direct to the big French propane bottles or do I need an adapter?

It won’t fit all of them, or perhaps any of them, but you can get a range of adaptors to fit the various bottles to convert to the nut on the end of the Gaslow hose. I bought mine from Hamilton Gas Products.

Not sure about adapter.
That’s when you need a Remoska!

Thanks the adapters seem to be for Le cube etc mainly butane, I’ll keep looking!

If your van has an outside BBQ point then you can use this to pipe the french gas in, via a bottle top regulator of course.
Lots of folk do similar, me included, when on spanish sites for several weeks in one stay.

Thanks thought all butane wrongly!
There are two 27mm clip on connectors on the gaslow site one has an elbow off the top specified for Le cube so presumably space is tight

Yes the 27mm clip connector I have has an elbow however the space between the gas connection and the edge /handle of the Le Cube isn’t to restrictive.
I can post a pic tomorrow if you want
the cylinder is 6kg capacity and definitely propane

I'm struggling to see what's going on here with this cube cylinder. Do you use that to fill up your gas bottle in the van?

No It’s exchangeable at many French supermarkets or petrol stations
Happy1 wanted a pic to see the approximate size and the where the 27mm clip on connection was in relation to the grab handles of the cylinder

fab thanks, this arrived today so will do the job gas pipe straight up away from handels but as you said probably plenty of space for a side exit as well
Also seems the gaslow pipe will screw direct to some French cylinders so two options now, got a few spare washers in case it freezes to cylinder as will he outside van in the snow!
Just need my van back from dealers with heating fixed☹️

The connector on French 13k propane and butane bottles is the same as UK butane threaded connectors. i assume that is the same as the gaslow connector.

Yes its 21.8 Lh fitting which looks like some sort of standard fitting

Hi Walburga, I've just seen your post about using the external BBQ point to put gas into the MoHo. So, if I understand correctly, the cylinder giving the gas needs to have a standard 30Mb regulator screwed into the valve and then presumably you make up a short pigtail which fits the "EU-Standard" regulator "out" screw fitting and whatever connector then suits your own rig? And this is then capable of allowing gas into the pipeline within the MoHo to feed the boiler/hob/fridge? Have I got that right?
