Our own Wild Camping site in Antrim Northern Ireland, free to use, nothing fancy but out in the country. Toilets across the road, can fill water tanks and empty waste, it's close to Antrim Town. Taxi rank across the road as well if you want to head into town for a few beers. CCTV, Lighting.

Electric hook up can be arranged at a small charge. BBQ's welcome. All we ask is that you clean up after you and respect the area.

Contact myself if you need further info:)

Nice offer Douzeper..

Thanks for that.. Would it be safe to walk to the Dunadry Hotel from your location ?

Yes very safe, you can stay of the main roads as there is a small hardly used back road that would take you there. Would take you twenty minutes approx walking. I would recommend "Ellie Mays" across the road from Dunadry though - my local :)

WOW ! OK

We are off to France next week. Will be in touch when we get home.

Thanks again.

No problem, just PM me when you are thinking of arriving and I will send you my number. Area is locked up so I need to unlock gates to let you in :)

Excellent :thumb:

Can you give Sat Nav co-ords for a more accurate address.

This?

Latitude: 54°41'3193"N
Longitude: 6° 9'53.64"W

.... taken from google earth.

That postcode takes you straight to it on Garmin & Tom Tom.

If only you could have a chat with the ferry people and get them to drop their rates to something approaching reasonable, we'd be there like a shot

Yeah we know only to well :( I think changes are going to happen sooner rather than later though.

Some of the visitors to Ireland will know or know of the author of this post (who still offers services in Antrim although maybe not the stopover) before Xmas his son was killed in a tragic accident on Snowdon in Wales, As a result of the accident a fundraiser was started for the mountain rescue team that were involved and it has reached its target 8 months ahead of the planned target .
Heres the local paper link to the story.
