Just wondered what the latest is regarding wild/free camping in Spain been doing it for the last 18 years but realise things have drastically changed

Now mostly inhabited by the super rich judging by the vehicles!
and German at that!
Most of the free camping places we have stopped at over many years are now no longer available going to Spain in a fortnights time after a two year break and interested to find out what is still ok

More & more restrictions being put in place in many regions, due to abuse by too many long stayers, and over crowding.
I think it was the Valencia Region that started tightening up on wild camping, especially if there is a campsite in the region.
I really cant see it getting any easier, as we all know, Portugal has taken this problem by the horns and implemented laws with big fines for all those that break the local no camping rules, ignore signage etc.
I think you will have to play it by ear, Park4nite will be well out of date on newly implemented restrictions, especially height barriers, and large bollards.
Happy hunting, if you are sensible & considerate, I am sure you will find somewhere to overnight.
PS: Watching the Vloggers, it would seem that staying away from the busy beaches, coast regions, and heading inland can be a very rewarding experience, so many lovely lakes & reservoirs, the worlds your oyster.
