I check this webpage on a weekly basis.....

On the page that opens, for other genres, click on 'books', as circled......

and a new page showing all the genres to choose from. Just click on your preference.....

Don't forget you can read the first chapter for free by clicking ' look inside' (circled below) to see if you want to buy it.

Agreed! I get a daily email containing about a dozen books, most of which are 99p, and some of which are free.

I love sci-fi and on my Kindle I opt for the book(s) to be read to me via the speech option - once you get used to the semi robotic voice it's quite good

Kindle unlimited is just the best. Not free but a real money saver if you read a lot or like magazines. I’m a car magazine reader and go through them every month , Top Gear, Autocar, Car, it saves me a blinkin fortune.
Plenty of other magazines as well, lifestyle, country, news.
No top shelf though, if thats even a thing nowadays. …..

If your tastes run to classic books, then Project Gutenberg is worth a look - it's the oldest repository of free ebooks, founded in 1971 (!)

Basically it's copyright expired works - so looking at yesterday's most downloaded there's Austen, Dickens, H.G.Wells, Bram Stoker, Arthur Conan Doyle, Mark Twain, Agatha Christie...
