Don't know if this is true but I was speaking to an English guy in Belgium who is a blue badge holder. He claims that he doesn't pay on aires because of the blue badge. Stated that on occasions when he was unsure he was always approached by French Campers who prevented him from paying due to disability. He also said that this also applied in some towns where electricity was available. Spoke to my disabled neighbour who has travelled extensively in Europe and she's never heard of it.

Quite true, I use my blue badge on every aire that you would normally pay for, and have been assured by the money collector that I don't need to pay.
