Anyone have any good stops near the border or about 50miles away?

Take a look at https://www.haut-giffre.co.uk/explo...-dna/natural-heritage/cirque-du-fer-a-cheval/ and surrounding area.
shows you some of the waterfalls. I think there are about 40-50 of similar height at the correct time of year. We went mid summer and there were nearly 20, all of them 500 foot or so high at least. Its a flat walk through the 3 sided valley.
Not very well known and is like out of a scene from Game of Thrones.

Giza clue, there's many border points between France and Switzerland...

Near Geneva there's CERN, near Bâle the motor museum (City of the Automobile) near Mulhouse is well worth a visit.

In between there's lots of other stuff
