can anyone help do you have to fill in a form if you are travelling from UK to France or Spain, for Covid purposes, I know you do if you fly to Spain but travelling over boarder in motorhome? If so where can I find it, I cannot find anything on the Government website.
Thanks in advance for any help.

but travelling over boarder in motorhome?

Yes. here it is.

https://www.spth.gob.es/

Fill it in & keep it. You'll be one of the few people to have ever used or seen one.
No paperwork from the UK, but there is upon your return to the UK
Not correct.Spain has always had a requirement for a form to be filled in , as above. Problem is no one , even the spanish travelling weekly , have any idea it exists:doh::laughing:

If you was to purchase health insurance know doubt they would find a get out clause...eventually

.
They don't need a get out clause, because of the Foreign Office notice anyone going to France or Spain will find their insurance invalid. Hence my earlier point.

So why worry about getting health insurance first ???

I looked at this form before we left the UK in the moho and headed for Spain via France. It appears to be for airports only as far as I could see and there was no-one at the border between France and Spain. If we do get pulled at any time I'll plead ignorance, shouldn't be too hard:LOL:

Left UK last Saturday Newhaven Dieppe ferry and in bottom of Spain now near Seville and apart from a form to fill in at ferry terminal there been nothing at all, all the way down.
I got travel insurance for 100 days maximum they give from Staysure includes everything as usual except Covid as already a known disease. Cover even includes over riding government advices about no international Tavel.

Actually that’s not true! I spoke to Nationwide and my insurance will not only be valid but will also cover COVID related issues much to my surprise!!

That's extremely interesting! We have Nationwide Travel Insurance and have just bought our first PVC, hoping to get abroad a bit sometime this winter without getting on a plane.

My NW policy says this in the Exclusions: travel to areas where, at time of booking the journey or thereafter but before you travel, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office has advised against travel to.

Does yours not say that? I may have to have words with Nationwide......

Edit: I searched and found the COVID page which does clearly say that as long as it's 'only essential travel' and not 'all travel' we are indeed covered. Hurray!

I didn’t read my policy as I wanted to speak to them and get it from the horse’s mouth so to speak. They seemed very blasé about it and said it was fine. They didn’t even say essential travel only?? Who am I to argue
