I’m hopefully off to France for a work related matter in the next week or so - I think I’m going to take the Hymer rather than the car so I’ll report on it goes.

Which is pretty typical of some on here. Trying to make everything as bad as possible. Hope the decision makers don’t listen too much to the doom mongers.
buttons could have made a genuine mistake, I have read articles on the net and then gone back to the top and realised that they were old
 
As reported this morning on LBC might be worth checking France entry clarifications for June 20th this year. Cant be too careful.
Of course there is always the UK Government website which is kept fully up to date with travel advice

You should not use the NHS testing service to get a test in order to facilitate your travel to another country. You should arrange to take a private test from.

Suddenly thought it must be April 1st, but then suspected Buttons just slipped up on the date - article was written in 2020, not 2021... :unsure: ;)
We have now moved on mike with the pasting in #11 of the uk governments version of the rules.... (y)
