South Island New Zealand - about 70% of the tourists were mainland Chinese when we were there earlier this year. No concept of personal space, no manners and after years driving around Chengdu in their Linlong 1.2 city car, they are then let loose on a 4 tonne motorhome. Their driving ability was close to zero, especially when parking. I also counted no less than 9 of them pile out of an AutoTrail Cheyenne..........

We went overland in 2011 London to Singapore mainly camping up until China with the vehicle on my avatar . We found it almost impossible to camp in China as the main routes had no places to pull off safely plus the police would be calling very soon after we attempted to stop . They much prefer you to stay in hotels which are very cheap . I never once saw a campsite in China or any sort of recreation vehicle. After China it was much the same Laos , cambodia , vietnam . thailand , malaysia .As far as i am aware we were the only vehicle to complete that journey that year and i cannot believe it would be possible in a normal spec uk motorhome . The first big obstacle would be getting across the Caspian Sea Baku to Turkmenistan as no official ferries and you have to bribe your way onto a gas/oil tanker. Some of the border crossings were difficult and long with lots of negotiating.

Looking at the bulet points in the uk they may have a shock if attempting those distances in 1 day.
