As my usual skateboarding & unicycle haunts are out of bounds due to Covid restrictions, today I headed over to Aberavon beach instead
Haven't been there for a while and the car parks I usually use now have height barriers preventing me from parking - no biggie, found a car park without restrictions
Whilst heading to the beach with my unicycle I bumped into a paragliding buddy and his family who are also keen motorhomers
He is also an occasional wild camper, in his case it means camping with his motorhome miles from anywhere/anybody and not leaving a mess....
That aside, when we discussed the barriers he said they'd been put up due to people camping in the car parks and leaving a mess - he called these people "Fly Campers"
Not an expression I'd heard before, but I get it......
