Flamma. F80S Awning.

I have two problems with my awning it has been great but last 4 weeks 2 problems persist.
first when I wind it out the left side does not spring out I have to hook it out to continue.
second when wound in does not fully close there’s a 3mm gap.
problems could be related . ?
any ideas ?

I believe the small gap when the awning is closed is normal. I can't help as to why it sticks when winding out. Someone will be along to help soon.

You could try loosening the shock absorber nuts.

No not the elbows loosen the top nuts each side where the arms attach to the van. It should say shock absorber on them. Wind out the awning as far as it will go . Then wind in .
