Flamma awning not retracting

When we put our flamma awning away it gets stuck. It just clicks a lot and appears to be slipping. One of us has to take the weight and walk it into place while the other cranks the handle. Is it dying? Is there a cure?

Sounds like teeth broken off one of the gears in the gear box. Should be an easy repair.

Thanks Lenny. I've youtubed for exactly that but not got anything. Plenty on fitting a new gearbox but nothing on fixing the old one.

I think fitting a new gearbox is the cure!!!

It works fine most of the way, bit the last third or so is when it struggles.

If your awning is an F45 then I have a spare gearbox complete if you want it.
It's all working fine and it's only going spare because I changed ours to the motor drive unit. £20 plus postage if you want it.

I've just realised it's an Omnistor not a Flamma! I think the dementia has started before the adventure!!! Thanks for the offer, though.
