I'm a newbie
Just bought a reversing camera for my Fiat ducato champ 520e 2003...It is really easy to fit i am just concerned about drilling through the pvc cab any one done this??

You have to drill to the inside but simply fill the holes with the synthetic putty. I think the big problem is routing and hiding the wires down to tho the front of thevan

Depends on your imagination and DIY skills .
I found it easy but time consuming and took extra care I didn't put a cable through a hole that then needed splicing or plugging in until I was absolutely sure.

Where are you drilling???? If you are able to get the cable down to the underneath you can run the cable along and up the step on the driver's side, similar to what I did in our last camper van:

REAR VIEW CAMERA & MONITOR(S)
A camera was placed under the rear bumper with a protective cover then the cables fed underneath to the front and brought up via an existing hole under the driver's foot well cover. The cable was fed up under the side of the foot well, the wheel arch cover and under the dash to the small dash shelf. The cable for the monitor, which sits on top of the original rear-view mirror, was fed up along the top of the windscreen behind the cab roof covering, down inside the door rubber and connected to the other cables which have been hidden under the wheel arch cover. I also stuck a small spare monitor to the end of the dash which can be used if the 'mirror' one plays up by simply swapping the connectors round.
