Hoping to replace my current Camos Reversing Only camera / dashboard viewer with a Camos Jewel Plus V2 and Mirror attached screen to provide me with both Reversing View and Rear View. I had planned to purchase and get fitted at RoadPro but have just been notified that they are fully booked until December.
As the main cable run to the back of the van is already fitted I am considering fitting it myself but the only concern I have is connecting and running all the cables under the dash to the mirror and provision of a reverse gear notification to change views. Has anyone on here carried out a similar project and how easy was it? Any stumbling points? Where did you run the cable to the viewing screen? Where did you take the reverse gear notification from? How good are the provided instructions?
