Anyone fitted a rooflight to the overcab bulkhead in an older (2008) Autorail? The front of the van is dark but not sure if it's even possible or advisable to look at this.

This may affect the ridged structure of the roof.

But
if it is possible it would have to be done by a company that would be able to carry out this work and place a warranty on the parts and labour.

so you may have to ask a Moho repair shop near or in your area.

When you say roof light it can mean 2 things and the picture you’ve supplied has both.

Are you asking about fitting a light on the inside roof area or trying to cut out a square and fit the large skylight opening.

if it’s the first, then quite easy, if it’s the latter, then I’d leave well along. Can’t imagine that you’d be able to get the cutting in exactly the right position to match the curve and believe you’re roof wouldn’t support the shape, let alone be water and weather tight.

Good LED’s would brighten it up no end.

If you do attempt the skylight, then lots of photos to post please, as we’d all like to see the progress.

Good luck.
