We were there for 5 days over the new year, great little site even though I got told off after 5 minutes of being there! (my fault),

Lovely site, plenty of walking direct from site but think you might get some snow tomorrow, at least you can walk into the village from there

Just jealous really, we were going away for a couple of days this week but events got in the way and it will probably be next week now.

Castleton is a lovely place, we like it up Devvils Arse and Speedwell on the boat. Never stayed at the CC site but want to.

Nice site Castleton CC. Get the bus to Bakewell, its just outside and is a really scenic route.

A great first trip, a bit rough last night, strong winds and torrential rain :-( Had a great meal in the Nags Head in Castleton. A good drive home in sunshine, great shakedown with a few little niggly problems for the dealer to sort, but nothing too daunting. 2 weeks to our next short trip
