Hi all, we are making our first motorhome trip to Europe in September. Travelling Newcastle to Amsterdam. We are initially heading for Mens - south of Grenoble where we are booked into the local site until the 19th Sept. We have family there. Plan is to head straight there with only one overnight stop so as to maximise time with family. Thereafter a slow head back to Amsterdam for late October sailing. I know the route we are taking on the outward journey - done it by car before. Looking for suggestions of best place to stop halfway between Amsterdam and Grenoble. Thereafter any suggestions for a slow meander back to Amsterdam. Thinking of west coast?? Any suggestions and does and donts for first timers. Many thanks.

Just go with the flow, be adventurous leave your base for your journey home and take it as it is, stop if you want to and for how long you want to. The destination is great but the journey is so much more fun. Happy travels. (y)

Watch out late October on the coast many sites will have closed.
You may be better off using aires or camperstops.
