Firestick’s are on offer again , thinking of upgrading my 1st gen 4K but which to choose 4K or max

If you're using it where data use is critical or costly, then the lower definition one might be the better option

No worries on data, on unlimited but usually run it on low def if data is slow

I previously went for the max, if you google it there’s plenty of comparisons made and they led me to the max option. Not had any problems with it
