It’s been a bit stressful getting here, sorting money, getting insurance, finding out what we might need like Mifi and levelling ramps and all sorts of other things to spend money on it while we wait
But today we collect our new to us MH and head off to the west coast to give her a check over and begin what is hopefully a long love affair
We don’t have our sticker yet, application is in the post, but if you see a pair of ageing teenagers smiling like Cheshire cats and waving to everything remotely looking similar to our love shack just wave back and let us enjoy our maiden voyage. Apologies in advance for the confusion to ambulances and ice cream vans etc ?

Nice one (y) get out there and use it then work out what you want and need otherwise you will have a shed full of stuff that you thought you needed/wanted but really don't/didn't.

Martin

Congratulations and I wish you many happy miles. May your wheels always be round. ?

Yes get out and just do it ! As Martin says find out what you need before buying all the bits you don't need ?

Don your wellies and 'sou westers' and go for it!! Welcome to the rest of your lives!!

I’m a bit worried.... water has stopped falling from the sky and there is a big bright yellow thing popping out between the clouds. It seems to coincide with feeling a bit warmer. What’d does this mean?

Can’t wait to pop over. Was dissappointed to see it costs around 300 quid for such a short journey but we love it over your way so it’ll be worth it if we can get a couple of weeks spare

As I've learned the Cheapest way is Cairnryan >> Larne or Cairnryan >>> Belfast in early hours of Tuesday, that way you can get a return trip for £210 with a 7.1 mtr motorhome

That’s much better. More beer tokens for a Guinness or few ?

This is roughly in the direction we will be headed soon. Maybe not quite up there with the Greece thread but after this week it will do me ?

You are right to be worried. That yellow thing is a gigantic thermonuclear reactor that's going to expand in 5 years' time and totally engulf the whole of planet earth. Better make the most of what little time you have left... :Eeek:

Er, maybe it was 5 billion years, better check that...

That’s us all settled in at glencoe, a lovely wee site in a beautiful location. A fitting spot to remember our first trip and a wee glass of bubbly to christen her proper
The MH drove absolutely brilliant and all is good in the world, apart fae the midges haha
Might be time to have a stroll down the local pub and enjoy the peaceful setting
