Friends of ours who live in New Zealand are importing a Fiat based motorhome they bought in the UK. They need to fit a kilometre speedo to it, and was wondering if any of you who have imported a motorhome from Europe have one spare after you had changed it to a milometer speedo.

you just stick on a new overlay onto the dial. the odometer can be switched between miles and km by a dealer

then you will have to source a km speedo from a breaker in europe or pay a fortune for a new one

Ours has miles and km on it
Thanks Robert. It seems that the kilometer markings have to be the prominent ones to satisfy the NZ authorities.,

I have heard of people who important European models into the UK swapping their kilometer ones for milometer ones and I was wondering if they had kept their old ones.

they would buy just the overlay. i cant see why a new overlay will not satisfy the NZ authorities it will look the same as a european clock

Any good?
Do you want the whole thing or just the speedo?
Don’t want owt for it. ?
