Fiat radio Bluetooth problem

Hi and thanks for any help
I have a 2015 Ducati with Fiat radio, it shows iPhone connection but won’t play music, any ideas I am at my wits end

My 2020 Ducato only connects to the phone via Bluetooth got to use a usb cable to play music.

Generally you need to connect with cable to enabled usb outlet either on unit or above the cup holder / storage box.

Looks the same as the one I used to have. Bluetooth works for “phone” but you need to connect by usb to use phone as music player.

Below the radio you will see the usb above the cup holders in the little cubby hole.

Unfortunately Jeff they are correct media or music unavailable only phone calls unless usb

Swap it out for aftermarket system which does all types of nav music phone etc etc you can find straight fit kits on ebay etc which comes with can/ wire adapters etc if required and surrounds making it easy fit... occasionally you might need an extra power wire that's all

My 2020 version won't even recognise media files via usb to an android device. The fiat fit radio is unbelievably crap. Not even a 3.5mm jack. The only sensible way is an aftermarket unit. I just cant decide how much I want to spend!!??

I am not savy in this, the device plugs in to the Aux and the Bluetooth from my phone, you can use it as a receiver or transmitter, the old cassette player won’t have this trouble

I know nowt about iPhones, wouldn't have one as a gift, but there may be some useful stuff on these pages. Maybe about selecting the audio destination whilst the music is playing.

I’m pretty sure your Bluetooth will only connect your phone , the USB is ( should be) in the drop down centre console
