Fiat Extended warranty

Hi All my Fiat based Motorhome is out of manufactures warranty soon. Has any bought an extended warranty for these vehicles or European breakdown cover. I cant get any sense out of Fiat dealerships because I didn’t buy it from them. Thanks

By coincidence I was checking our Fiat extended warranty today. The standard warranty is 2 years from first registration and this can be extended by 3 years to 5 years. My concern was that our extended warranty is from a company called Mopar which was not familiar too me but some quick research soon revealed that Mopar is the parts, service and customer care organisation within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

Our van is in the first year of ownership from new which means that we have the benefit of the Fiat European wide breakdown cover and I need to find out how to extended this year on year and a check of the owners manual indicates that Fiat Camper Assistance is for 3 years and covers breakdown, accident, courtesy car and lots more.

Unfortunately it is not all good news, the killer blow... The Fiat Extended Warranty can only be purchased within the first 15 days of the vehicle registration from new.

Does the Fiat warranty cover just the vehicle parts ?

The Fiat Camper Warranty covers repair or replacement of the defective component and provision of the labour to carry out the replacement or repairs and supply of consumable materials needed to carry out the repair under warranty.
