I have noticed a small amount of condensation in my drivers side headlight. Does anyone one know if the lens comes off or is it a sealed unit?

Don't know if it comes apart. If you can remove the whole unit, remove bulb holder, position unit so the hole is at the top and stick a hair dryer in there for 10 minutes. If you can't remove the unit hair dryer in situ for 30 minutes. Hope this helps.

You can try drying it out but likely reoccur. It's a sealed unit about £100 for new unit. My headlight condensation comes and goes over last 2 years, I just live with it. Makes no difference to performance.

I had this problem on one of our work vans the main dealer fix was to drill a small hole in the unit , we couldnt see the hole but it cured the condensation.

Had this happen to me too. Couldn't dry it out and eventually the inside became so corroded as a headlight it was useless - although strangely it passed an MoT because it didn't dazzle oncoming drivers!

As it happens this was an item I bought on Ebay a few years ago when I discovered I had a continental fitting. I'd kept the original and simply replaced it with the old and a bit of tape to prevent the "kickup" of the beam. Passed MoT fine. I think it was around £70.
