Thanks for the feedback on the fan speed control. Yes the problem was the resistor block. The Fiat dealership in Albertville had one.... cost 52 euro. Heyho it is a Fiat genuine part which comes with a two year guarantee and made in Germany. On EBay circa nine quid. Wonder if it is a copy and overseas though.
