Interesting thread from the IH owners site for Ducato owners.

2012 IH 630 RL – 150 BHP
Hopefully the unfortunate experience I had with a number of warning lights appearing on the dashboard will save others having the same problem diagnosed.
In brief the following warning lights appeared on the dashboard:-
• ABS
• EBD
• PAS
• Engine Management Light
• No speedometer
In addition, the van reverted to limp mode and if the van has an automatic gearbox limits the gears to reverse, first and second.
A diagnostic check flagged up the code P0500 which relates to a speed sensor problem.
After some research the source of the problem was the circuit board on the ABS unit. A new ABS unit costs around £1500 from Fiat and is guaranteed for 12 months.
There are a number of companies that check and repair ECU and similar components and I opted for:-
ECU Testing LTD.
Delves Road
Heanor Gate
Derbyshire
DE75 7SJ
They checked the ABS unit and found a fault on the ABS circuit board and repaired it for £190 + VAT. The repaired part has a lifetime unlimited mileage guarantee for as long as the customer owns the vehicle.
Should anybody else experience the same problem I hope this info is of use. The link to the summary of the fault can be found at http://www.ecutesting.com/common-faults/fiat/fiat-ducato-abs-pump-fault-...

I recently had all of those warning lights with speedometer not working. Didn't get limp mode. Went to Cartronix and had the dash unit repaired. Its been fine since. Cost about £195

Used this company myself recently but they told me the part is unrepairable. Have sourced a part second hand but will need coding in to the motorhome if anyone has anywhere I can go to have this done I will be forever in your debt as I am drawing a blank every which way.

You need someone with MultiEcuScan and associated cables to carry out a proxy alignment. If you ask on the Fiat Forum you may find someone near to you who might be able to help.
