A few weeks ago I locked the van with fob as normal outside a supermarket.
when I came back it would not unlock the Front or rear doors. Eventually it worked.
I took spare key out of van no fob locked again and again could not open only with the key?
later in another area all worked fine but I am nervous of leaving van now without both sets of keys?
my thought is the fob suffered some form of jamming or interference? Or maybe battery had a glitch. (Is there a battery in the fob.?)
anyone else had this problem?
2019 Model.
also discovered cannot lock van with only the key? It only operates drivers door so goodness knows how we are supposed to lock van if fob is defunct?
Mick.

It is possible something was blocking the signal. I used to work in an environment which involved the use of equipment which was controlled by a radio hand set. I had several instances where drivers of other equipment such as forklifts and cranes could not start their equipment whilst my handset was switched on. Of course I never let on I knew this when new operators arrived. 😈

I had a motorbike that wouldn’t start after filling with fuel, the guy in the garage told me to push it about a hundred yards down the road and it would start, it did. There was a communication tower nearby that messed up with my immobiliser.
Hope you get it sorted 🤞

Hi.
Jennifer in hospital, visited, came out car would not unlock... It was parked near the Radiation ? unit of the hospital. A young lad had parked his car up one night.... Near " Bolehill Wirksworth ?" Car would not start when HE ? wanted to leave....... He ( THEY  :ROFLMAO: ) freewheeled and fired it up. Locals told him it was the Masts power at Bolehill.

I used to regularly visit a warden assisted complex and there were frequent problems with cars not unlocking or starting. We used to push them a few yards down the road away from the radio call system and problem solved.

Agree almost certainly local radio/electrical interference. Had it happen to me in a coach park in Holland which happened to be within the turning loop of the local tram system.

This caught me out too.

The Ducati has an ignition setting that use no battery at all

When you turn the ignition off if of you fully turn it so there is no battery useage at all it gives you several minutes to use the fob to lock the cab. After that time period the fob won’t open the door but the key should. To avoid this happening do not turn your key to the final setting in your ignition before removing it. full
Details should be in the handbook
