Hi I have. Fiat Ducato 2006 and need to know where the split charge relay is from the alternator to the leisure battery so it can be tested. Can anyone help please?

It would depend on the make of habitation electrical system that has been used , the power supply unit (with the habitation fuses in it) should have a make and model number on it.

There isn't a split charge relay in the original base vehicle that the motorhome converter starts with. Converters can fit a relay, either near the starter battery or near the leisure battery. But a common thing is to buy in a branded 12V distribution/fusebox, from a maker such as Sargent, CBE, Nordelettronica or a few others. These boxes have a number of relays built-in, including the split charge relay and the fridge relay.

If your MH has such a distribution/fusebox, what is the make and model?

Mine was a post convert. There was a switch panel above the side door. There's quite a bit of space in the channel up there. The relay was buried in there too. Bit of a rat's nest though.
