I seem to have a ‘notch’ on the throttle. Almost like a click to get to the floor, it’s just about at the end of the throttle.

What does this do, or what happens when you press through this?

Sorry for the strange question. It’s a little loaded. But if you have the same (or experience of) auto box can you shed some light on it for me please.

Is it the kickdown switch?

• Kick Down Mode: reduction in the ratio following abrupt action on the accelerator pedal (for example, during overtaking);
