Hi Funsters, where's your favourite place to visit & why. Is it somewhere you discovered & what to return to or somewhere you keep returning to. I am looking for ideas of where to go both in the uk & Europe with the Motorhome

UK wise, always enjoyed Castleton & really enjoy the New Forest. I also, really like Pembrokeshire. If you wanted sites, give me a shout....otherwise, get out and about and enjoy. (y)(y)

What do you like to do with your days? What an ideal stop over for you?

Bavaria, especially Rothenburg ob der Tauber?

You’ve just given a list of our favourite places - nearly dropped the phone when I saw Vieux boucau too!

Mosel valley, cycling along the river.

Morocco - well you asked for our favourite place!

We've been to Scotland at all times of the year and in all weathers, mainly prefer the west coast and islands.

Thanks for your replies, a wide variety of places & countries to explore

Read the title... None of the thread....
However, my fav place to visit is the bottled beer isle ... Where they sell 4 for £6 ???

We have a long list of favourites and all outside of the UK.

La Mailleraye-sur-Seine, Sancoins, Gruissan, Carro and many more.
Why pay daft prices, drive on crowded and badly maintained roads and not be welcomed in most places when you can nip through the tunnel and be in motorhome heaven. :D :D

Totally agree - but you live an hour or so away from the Tunnel. Some of us need all day to get there! :madder:

Where do you stay? We’ve only been once and stayed at Vieux Port campsite which wasn’t brilliant.
