Tis true.. I was disappointed in later books and felt he might have provided the plot but someone else had done the writing.

The first one I read of his was Heart of Danger..

Like Bernard Cornwell too. :)

Sorry lost a paragraph there.. I had typed.. Love the first books of the Courtney family.. .. I also love Gerald Seymour... My first book of his was Heart etc etc. '

Yes the Courtneys and Ballantynes were the best. The Egyptian Pharoah trilogy were not bad if a little far fetched.
