Citroen relay conver
Hi all I am in france on a road trip in my converted citroen relay van. yesterday I had a warning alert saying rear doors open so I did the sliding door sensor as I thought it was that nope . I opened the pannel on the lock side of the rear doors and found a badly balls up of a attempt to repair some damaged cable by a previous owner. so I spent most of the day chasing cables so now they are or should be ok.next I found that it looks like the striker plate had moved so after a few choice words and half a can of wd40 I got that free and lined up ok I checked and lubed the mechanism and made sure the doors we shutting properly but nothing worked. So next I checked the fuses and the regulator all happy.
Am I missing something as I am totally cheesed off with it now but as I can only lock the rear double doors and the drivers side I cannot leave it on its own. Is their a way of bypassing or bridging the sensor or possible cutting a cable just so I can lock it up safely while I finish my long planned road trip. I have spare door locks and thing back in the uk so I can fix it back home plus I am on a tight budget so a garage is no a realistic proposition can anyone help me as my wife is having kittens cheers all from ian

Most proximity switches have 3 wires, 2 for power and 1 the signal. Join the plus to the signal wire and that should be the normal signal.

An old Volvo I had got crud in the bonnet sensor. One wire twisted and inserted across contacts effectively bypassed it.

Hi this bugger has five the any idea of the colours cheers
Can you trigger the switch with a piece of metal? If so check which contact becomes live and that should be the missing signal.
