Any recommendations for external vertical vent and cover?
Ive just put 4k diesel heater in our CTourer and due to it position need to bring fresh air in from the side of the van,,
Any help with vent/cover please? not worried about using anything up to 4inch hole saw..
Thanks

Why do you need to bring it in from outside? Safer to recirculate the air rather than risk bringing in diesel fumes?

you dont need fresh air into the van with the diesel heaters air for combustion is brought in and exhaust out through the pipes below the van this is why they are safe to use. You want to heat the air in the van so it just recircs through the heater if you bring in fresh air while its running your basically trying to heat the world

Thanks above replies,
Mitzimad/Dunnah ive mounted the heater in lower floor level of the van and routed the 90mm outlet into the van and 65mm to keep underfloor warm when away in winter,(Lithiums and Tanks)
so coming from construction thought you would require fresh clean air going into the heater, installer said the cavity floor was more than enough air for the heater,
im just being cautious and don't want any issues when get into the mountains for prolonged periods. never had diesel heater only Alde on our vans, Truma was useless in Scottish cold period after alde..
So have put diesel in getting ready for winter away.
thanks for your help
