looking to buy a pump to top our on board fresh water tank from a Aqua roll thinking about buying a Whale pump any thoughts appercated

I use a 12v pump bought from Ebay, works a treat.

Excellent idea. I've done the same and it works well. Much better than moving the van to the filling point with all the faff of making sure everything inside is safe. Do you have a wastemaster or similar for grey water? We do and it works well for us.

I just walk a watering can backwards and forwards a few times if our consumption is low. Or just up-sticks and drive to the tap and dump at the same time. But I don't tend to stay on sites for more than few days at a time.

That is what I use, and once when my in tank pump failed I used it to supply the sink/bathroom/hot water in place of the original pump.

We use a Whale external pump to empty the aquaroll into the van’s tank. Work’s pretty well but be sure to get the right model for your van switch.
