Hi Funsters,
I had a tomahawk steak ready to cook on bbq tonight and when setting up the bbq the bull flinch was a bit loosen (compared to previous use) and would not lock in open position, hence no gas, no steak. Any quick fix? Better to take it back to the gas outlet installer?
Thanks

If it won’t lock in the on position then the bayonet is not locating correctly in the unit.
You may know that without the bayonet on the bbq pipe ) plugged in fully the unit will not allow gas to flow.
Is there an obstruction in the tap ?

Thanks for the reply, I double checked the bayonet and the female element, no visible obstruction. I can smell a bit of gas after removing the bayonet but not intense so I assume something wrong with the valve
